I am now at a point as a viewer in which I would like to see a league in which factions are organized into teams through captains. 1 team member per title. Only 1 of 5 captains (appointed by the owner) can acknowledge team membership which would be a requirement for title contention. 5 teams with members (samurai) who compete for titles. The captains (veterans and those with exceptional promo skills) pursue The Chalice, a greater prize than any single title in professional wrestling. The top 2 teams with the best overall W-L record would compete in an annual event in a series of agreed upon matches. The winning team gets rings, cash rewards, and endorsements. The Captain that wins the greatest prize in professional wrestling receives the compensations of team members. He also is given the responsibility of appointing a commissioner/arbitrator (booker) for the following year. It is through this commissioner (minister) that fortune favors the winning team with preferred bookings and pushes and could “rule” a promotion. (Shogun) if a team had 6 members and a captain you would be estimate a roster size of approximately 50 persons with 35 team members (samurai), and 15 others (ronin/jobbers) who compete for their own ends, sometimes for a spot, sometimes to settle a grudge. Veterans under this type of organization could extend their careers as captains (lord) and front for teams. In this type of organization the best possible in-ring matches would be presented by the top athletic competition.
