HOLY:
We derive the English word HOLY from Old English halig, (meaning: consecrated, sacred; godly), which, in turn, comes from Old High German heilag, and eventually, PIE (Proto-Indo-European) *kailo, meaning "whole, uninjured”.

The word’s etymological ancestry also shares roots with  Proto-Germanic *hailaz (“whole, safe, sound”)

SPIRIT:
The etymology of SPIRIT can be traced back to Latin spiritus meaning “breath” or “a breathing (of respiration, also of the wind)”.

This song, “HOLY SPIRIT”, and my previous song, entitled “GARDEN”, are both singles from my upcoming album: “The Romantic Spirituals” - A collection of Romantic, Sensual, Intimate, Adorative, & Appreciative Love Songs To The Creator of All Things Within and Out of the Self(s), The Ancestors, & Our Descendants yet to come (and the oneness of the Creator through all these things).

Though both “GARDEN” & “HOLY SPIRIT” can be listened to as romantic songs, they also hold a much deeper, expansive, and precise meaning; they are conversations with The Most High & Almighty, This Holy Great Universe, Our Holy Planet, The Ancestors, The Descendants, & The Self.

As you listen, I invite you to listen from this multitude of angles. Each angle give new meaning and perspective to the listening experience, (which will also be heavily influenced by where you are in your life and evolution).

To all who listen - and all who don’t, I wish unto you the experience and path of walking in and with the “HOLY SPIRIT” - The Divine & Whole, Complete & Uninjured, Healthy Breath of The Great Holy, Almighty, Omnipresent, and True Creator, Source, Designer, Animator, Destroyer, Harmonizer (etc.) of All Things.
