Hello. My name is Peter. I have been using a VIVE alternating pressure pad since September of 2021, when I received one. I am a ventilator dependent, who is VERY prone to bed sores AKA Pressure Ulcers. In the hospital I've developed several. Technically, I should probably be on a bed like a full blown specialty bed, BUT the alternating pressure pad works great for me, and I'm doing so well. I like being able to feel the movement of the air in my sleepsleep. I can also feel the vibrating air which has kind of a vibrating sensation where the tubes end. You can feel it. And in my sleep, that's so relaxing. I'm in the hospital a lot, so I take comfort in sensations like this. Ventilator patients get sensations similarly to these all the time, because of how much they are in the hospital. But this pad has helped me SUBSTANTIALLY!!! I have an extra pad in case this one springs a leak. I'll have used this pad for two years in September.
