I have a question, you mentioned that it is better to only license your copyrights. but what about illustrated children's books? do you recommend the artist to sell his copyrights? and if so, what's the pricing range of one illustration?

Great video as usual James! Thank you for this. Could you please do one on pricing for digital illustrations? For example, using the illustrations in social media, an app, website, e-zines, even AR filters. Quite a number of publications are going digital and some of my clients have commissioned me to do illustrations for digital platforms. If I do an illustration for a physical magazine and my clients inform me that they intend to use the image to market the magazine, should I be charging extra? How much more should I be charging?

Another excellent video! Here is my question: I am interested in illustrating for a magazine, but I can’t find any application process on their website, is it out of place to email their contact form about the topic? Do I just need to look harder?
