It makes perfect sense as to why "Mary" (Sophia) takes precedence over the Christ/Hero figure in these gospels. The Sophianic Intelligence of the Earth and Universe is the initiator into Truth, hidden knowledge, Wisdom (phronesis), natural law, and higher realities. Her very presence in an individual bestows sapience, sentience, and holistic intelligence. She is a guardian of the sacred mysteries, and the first supernatural intelligence that one usually encounters when undergoing a true awakening/rebirth experience and the subsequent experiences that typically follow i.e. Pneumatic/Spiritual of Gnosis/bestowal of Charismata/intuitive powers/psychic abilities etc.

You can picture the whole process like this as well: Yin/female (Anima) gives birth to Yang/male (Animus), or put differently the Soul (female) gives birth to the Spirit (male) - at each level, each part contains a "seed" of the other. Mary (Sophia) and "Christos" (Hermes/Seth) are a divine coupling or Syzygy of this kind, and in the body when a true awakening occurs, the Soul awakens first and gives "birth" to the Pneumatic Divine Spark AKA "Spirit." Once rejoined, they "rise" together from the sleep of death, back into the heavenly Pleroma from whence they came. Eternal immortality, restoration, and psychological completion are thus attained. Some Gnostic writings refer to the aforementioned process as "receiving the Fullness" or the "living resurrection."

There's always been Two entities and each has its realms. Light has angels who never lived and ones that lived.
Darkness has demons and lost souls.

I see it as remembering that you were born with the most direct connection to the rest of it all (God). You have to trust yourself to find it
