Is the Object 430U better than 121 in World of Tanks?

The Object 430U may be called an analog of 121. The Soviet machine has better armor but is behind in combat power. Let’s see which tank is better in Random Battles, discuss the pros and cons of these machines and try to understand which tank is better.

I definitely suggest the Obj 430u as the first pick for a tier 10 for a newer player. At this point the gun stats aren't as important(not to mention the 430u doesn't have terrible gun stats anyway), and the armor is extremely forgiving, allowing for mistakes, which are going to happen with less experienced players.

One extremely important thing regarding the 430U is that the grind up to it is arguably the easiest in the entire game. The tier 9 Obj 430 basically doesn't have a stock grind. You have the top turret and gun straight from the get go, and you don't even need the tracks and engine(they provide extremely minimal boosts to combat performance). It also doesn't hurt that the Obj 430 is a solid well-rounded machine.

The only particular difficult part of the entire line is the T-44 stock grind, which is definitely horrid, but once you move onto that part, it's effectively smooth sailing throughout the entirety of the line.

The line is practically purpose built for new players.

I played the 121 a lot on the test server. I will say I think the gun/tanks handles a lot better then 430U. The shell velocity is better as well, which helps hit the wheelie boys. I now have a 4 skill crew sitting in the 122 tm but I just keep looking at that line and go ... nah...

I ground my way to the 430U ... wanted a tank that could play close support with heavies .... armor helps as Im an average player (its forgiving of my errors)

This is just amazing that you play without food, unlike most streamers, demonstrating that those T10 tanks are still usable without it. Most importantly it means that using food does not make you a better player. 🙂

YEP that 430u is hard too Pin from the front and will bounce lots shots from the sides then there the RnG seem to love that tank hard to get a cross hair shot as my skop G shots always go to the outside even full aimed > got the 430 unlocked the 121 i can pin all day long

How's this same Compatison FEEL for the 121B Reward Tank compared to the 2 Tanks... It too is about to get Buffs once they go Official after Super Test and the Test Server Results are In.... Might wanna look into That as well since 15K Bonds is alot of Purple Equipment and almost 2 Tier 8 Bond Tanks....

Why are you giving up the free bonus from the first module slot on tier 10 tanks? If you're gonna rigorously put camo on every tank for a measly 2-3% boost, I can't believe there's no viable upgrade module loadout that will let you take advantage of this. Maybe consider an IRM? A wee bit less buff on the dispersion bloom, but that gun will be on target in a heartbeat.

Wow, wz 120 is a sleeper!? I quit the grind at that line with that PoS. 3 deg gun depression! You really do like the less loved vehicles in the game. I'm still eventually going to fragment and buy 121 next time there's a sale.

The 120 is hard to play. If you roll up on a curb you can't shoot the guy in front of you. 3 degrees of gun depression... no bueno. Tank desperately needs a depression buff.
