Leatherman Raptor Table Top Review - Rescue Scissors Or Tin Snips?!

Reviewing the Leatherman Raptor! Took me long enough to get to these but the wait was

well worth it! This special purpose multitool blew my expectations out of the water! they aren't scissors, or shears, these are full on TIN SNIPS.

Very well thought out design between being able to use the holster with the Raptor open or closed, the design of the cutting edge, and the ability to use the strap cutter in the closed and open configuration.

Leatherman knocked it out of the park with this one!

These are the best EMS shears I have ever owned. The pocket clip has a thumb cut out of it so you can one hand open the scissors. Plus it has the cool fidget factor to impress the nurse's while you're at the hospital. Lol. we have always gauged our EMS shears by cutting a penny in half. The Raptor can eat pennies all day long.

Halló... An adwise for raptor owners :
Leatherman raptor come out of factory a little loose in Central pivot.
But is a torx screw.
If tight it a little, the scissors make a lot better job... Especially at the end of the cut.
I think the correct setting is more tight then the factory setting.

if your service has the elctrodes with the jelly on them, that jelly can make rust spot on your raptors. i know bc i have rust spots on mine from cutting the strips
