I also think that people are looking for a game that replaces royale high in a sense. Lots of people go to royale high to dress up, but since royale high has a toxic community, unmotivated owners, etc, this is a good replacement.

I think that DTI is a game that brings back Fashion Famous, in a more modern way. Fashion Famous was one of the top games in around 2017-2019, and it died as people were allowed to create their own UGCs and models in Roblox Studio.

The best part is that they listen to their community, they’re releasing a new game mode, etc. and the community isn’t all that bad either!! They’re actually pretty nice <3 I love it

Another factor is because they have lore, and the lore is giving "the myths" era of Roblox. They are using accounts alongside the lore, which makes it SO interactive and full of mystery. Perfect thrill and awesome plot. Great devs frfr!

not only that but dti (dress to impress) has LORE, like its not only a upgraded fashion game, it has secrets about lana, ( the girl who does your nails 💅🏻) so lana is actually not lana its a doppelganger of her. there is a book on top of a shelf and it talks about the doppelganger and next to it it reads: FIND ME.. USER ID: (idk lanas id) but if you see it, the id is actually a acc id and it leads to lana (the acc), you also wanna see her bio bc it has a code or smth. she has her own game called "Forest" idk how to explain but if you see a circle go to it (it needs 4 ppl) and it tps you to a maze and if you complete it you get a ripped white dress in dti and to wear it you go to lana and in the left you see it. lana has her own channel called lana aka lanadoesnails and there is some creepy vids. (im srry if this is long)

DTI really sky rocketed when the Rh drama started in February. Lots of people then went to DTI as it was a replacement for the only good dress up game at the time then when they saw how DTI had lots of dedication and respect for their community, something Rh did not have. That’s when DTI was a very popular game!

I get people are trying to find a game to replace rh, but imo I feel like a fashion game that has nothing similar to the game we are trying to replace, the main point of royale high was roleplaying, hanging out, dressing up, etc etc, so I’m kind of surprised that we replaced royale high for THIS 😭 (I’m not saying that dress to impress is a bad game and I am not saying that rh doesn’t deserve to be replaced. reasons why this got popular: Royale high was a fun dress up game until it started controversy.
fashion famous was the but older, yet the developer was getting greedy and started making a lot of stuff cost money.
No one has probably heard of this but dollista was a fun dress up game UNTIL, the owner had allowed young kids in their discord,
Leaking a game, raiding servers and they sent not so kid friendly stuff.

one thing that dragged me into this game was definitely royale high's downfall w/ its toxic community & owners that made fake promises-
plus the fact that i love dress-up games bc i get to recreate characters from other medias & enhance my clothing creativity is what pulled me into this game even more)

It feels, plays and looks better than most other fashion games. Also, there is one and only one gamepass, vip. Also, you dont have to spend 50 robux to get all colours, another 60 for all makeup, etc. One more thing is tat its organized. I played fashion famous for the first time in years, it was unorganized, looked like a warehouse and you have to pay for so many obscure things, like full colour access. DTI is much funner to play.

I think dress to impress is basically just if fashion famous and Royale high had a baby, It was fun but then it kept getting updates and new things and the updates weren’t that exciting for me. So I really don’t get why it’s get why it’s so popular. Also because it got more popular cause people were basically making this the new Royale high, same with Astro renaissance. The same will most likely happen with DTI.
