This is interesting, because when i was younger, i vividly remember that the dress was white and gold, i remember thinking people who saw it as black and blue was being crazy in their head. But now, about 5 years later, i see the dress as black and blue.

When this first became a thing years ago, I saw black and blue. But i came back and now i see white and gold

I genuinely see white and gold. Even when compared to the other pictures, the original picture was still white and gold. The other pictures were black and blue though, so I don't know how any of this works. I can't imagine what it would be like to see the original picture as black and blue and I wish I could see it through those people's eyes.

even after all these years, I cannot see white and gold. I am an artist and i spend all day every day figuring out how things look and respond to light. I do this to a degree that most people just don't. I see the world and I notice things most people don't. I look at the dress, I see blue and black in a brightly lit environment. There's no amount of tricks that can take away my understanding of how light works. people have tried suggesting imagining it is in shadow, but I see the shadows cast on the dress by it's own folds and it's not possible for that to happen if it were all in shadow.

I feel jealous of the people who see white and gold...almost like I'm basic for seeing what it really is
