Reminds me of something that happened to me when I was 20 years old... went to a club, got on the dance floor and was just vibing by myself to the music. After a few minutes I realised I was dancing with a guy and he was dancing with me. Our eyes locked and he took my hand and we went to a booth in the back of the club and made out for ages. Mind you, this was a regular straight club in a not very big town. Nobody paid any attention to us until we went outside much later and while waiting for a taxi we started making out again outside the club. More than a few girls squealed with delight and said to their fella ... ''Awww look, two guys together!'' That guy I met on the dance floor became my first long term relationship. It is one of my best memories.

I discovered this song a few days ago and it’s become the most incredible ear worm. I know that it’s not the intended meaning of the lyrics but “let go” is becoming my dealing with social isolation theme song. I had it on repeat for an hour (because why the hell not) and it felt like meditation.

I was first blessed with the irrepressibles in '08 with my boyfriend at the time. One of us found the video for in this shirt and fell in love. Mirror mirror came out months later and it just filled out souls. (I believe my friend Joe was the only other song I could find on iTunes at the time... excellent also!)...loved nude, almost but not quite as much. Then just realized this newest album had been released. This song brought me to tears while I was driving and listening for the first time. I felt my soul shake the way it did when I listened to in this shirt so long ago. This band conveys something strong to my soul and every song is a blessing to hear. Thanks for continuing to produce amazing stuff. I'm 41 years old in rural West Virginia. But my heart is in this music.
