BlockFi limits the number of Ethereum you can have with them and collect interest from. They will give up to 4% interest on up to 5 ETH then the percent interest drops to 1.5%. So unless you have an exchange that pays better rates this theory of collecting a bunch of interest won’t work.

I can't imagine Ethereum sustaining deflation for years at a time. EIP-1559 only becomes deflationary when the network is overwhelmed. The base fees would have to exceed the block rewards even after the blocksize adjusts to accommodate the demand. I like the analysis.
