While I might be a bit biased since I work directly for this amazing human, but this message was excellently and clearly delivered. A polite reminder for lawyers and law firms to begin or develop their journey into AI. Go Teddy!

So eye opening! I’ve just started learning about AI in law and had no idea about how much it’s already changed the way lawyers work. Definitely curious to learn more about how it’s going to change the future of legal practice!

Well said! There is a quite a bit of uncertainty in the legal industry regarding AI, but now is a wonderful opportunity to embrace and begin to test AI. Many leaders in law have suggested that although AI (of the present moment) won't replace lawyers, those that adopt AI will begin to replace those who do not.

Agree. It' a mandate, not an option.

Agree. AI is shaking up the legal world, and while there's a lot of fear, we should be embracing the incredible opportunities it offers!

RE AI summarizing a 100 page deposition, BS. AI is (currently) unable to summarize a depo in a way that is useful for ME at trial. AI misses important facts and nuances in cases. AI is good to get the "gist" of a witnesses testimony, but is woefully deficient at picking out what would be really important at trial. The experienced Lawyer that knows the nuances of the particular case is best able to do that, NOT AI. Lingfei Wu is misstating the usefulness of AI, currently. I am an AI power user, I know it's limits. And AI is very helpful in many ways, but also still very limited and still untrustworthy. I have had AI analyze documents quite a bit, and it frequently misses very important items. I have no doubt AI will get "there, " but it's not there yet.
