In Europe, there's a growing sense of neglect towards the younger generation. They face lower salaries, longer work hours, and increased responsibilities while witnessing a surge in billionaires, particularly in countries like Germany.
The housing market adds to their woes, as property prices soar, making it difficult to afford homes, let alone start families. To compensate, cheap labor from abroad is often favored, leading to frustration among the youth, who feel betrayed.
People aren't inherently racist, but this frustration arises when governments prioritize external labor over addressing domestic issues. It's high time politicians acknowledge and tackle these pressing concerns rather than resorting to distractions. The younger generation deserves meaningful change.

Caring about the indigenous people, their protection and their values is considered “Far right”.

When they use the term "far right" today I feel they are talking about me and the majority of humans on this planet. Far right now means you're still a human using common sense.

"far-right, far-right, far-right, extremist, extremist" It's only far-right because you all went crazy left and pushed to shift the Overton Window. Stop it.

The AFD is supported by many average Germans who care about their country, families, security, and culture.

Remember when you label it far right and extremists...you label a 3rd of the population.

Sorry, the “right-wing extremist” label is way past old. Stop name-calling. Discuss and deal with the ISSUES that are raised.

Time to come to senses, dear DW, and stop this primitive labeling. CDU and SDP failed just to recognize the problem that mass illegal immigration brought, stop blaming those who were honest to their voters

It's very frustrating. This report says nothing about why the AfD is considered far right.

As an American who has traveled to many areas of Europe, I find the “mainstream media” in Europe to be in the dark ages regarding the current political climate. Please spare us with your irrational fears of “right wing” and “fascist” parties like the AFD. Conservative, nationalist, populist political parties have had recent success throughout much of Europe. A prime example is National Rally in France, which holds approximately 1/3 of the seats in Parliament. Like in the US, issues such as a slow economy, virtual open borders immigration policies, radical environmental policies and an elitist, out of touch government ruling class are problems that many Americans and Europeans care about.

You should refer to the AFD as right wing, not “far right”. I’m old enough to remember real far right, and the AFD isn’t that and neither is it extremist.

😅 Let me make it clear because you’re not listening:
THIS MOVEMENT IN EUROPE IS ABOUT THE THREAT OF ISLAM. (Not skin colour)
