This is the perfect dac amp, 4.4mm pentacon for my hd660s, decent power, 4 pin xlr, 6.3mm jack, optical in, fair price, 600 euro here in Europe, not cheap but not crazy 2.3.4000 euro like top end gear that most of us cannot afford anyway

I just got mine yesterday, and yup, what he said in regards to use in a stereo system. I have not tried headphones with it. Ditto on the bass, more of it and so well controlled. Simply more of everything and I hear so much more of the music.

Which (dx7 pro or d70) do you suggest for the Hifiman Arya? You said in your d70 review that the sound was less in-your-face and has a sense of depth, and that it had a warmth and naturalness that made it a great pairing for the Arya. You said the dx7 pro's sound is closer to you in contrast, but it can still power the Arya, but you also seem to like the dx7 pro more since it fixes all the flaws in the d70. Which would you say is best for the Arya?
PS: What about the RME ADI-2 DAC FS?

Is this still a good option in 2022? I was looking at the Zen One Signature and Zen Can, but the 2 power bricks might be annoying. Will this all in one be better?

How would you compare a Topping E30+A50S stack with the DX7 Pro? I use the preamp out with powered speakers and the 4.4mm balanced headphone out with Sundaras. Thanks. My E30+A50S stack sounds good but it's sloppy looking. Plus I'm also using an external LDAC bluetooth receiver and a small shelf to elevate the A50S to make its volume control usable. The DX7 Pro could replace all of those pieces on my desktop.

This is the same price as the Keces E40. If your use case is USB input from a computer and output alternates between active desktop speakers and Sundara headphones, which amp would you choose? The Topping DX7 Pro or the Keces E40?

Great review as always mate. Very informative. Am in the process of upgrading my DAC from my current SMSL SU-8.

Which one would you advise to buy: the Topping DX7Pro or the SMSL M500 in terms of components used, their implementation and most importantly sound quality (noting the $200 difference - let us know if that price hike is worth it). I have the same Arya you have and use them via THX 789 amp in balanced mode (You can advise for any other DAC as well in the same price range)

Based on your review I've bought it. :) Now I'm waiting for a post man. WIll give you my feedback after some testing.
Do you think adding a Keces BP600 will improve the sound even more? Is it warth it?
