Pecan Meringue Cookies

Soooooo Good. These are Promise’s and her mom’s favorite. So easy and everyone will love them. Only 4 ingredients.. Great for the holidays..

Recipe for Pecan Meringue Vookies
3 warm egg whites
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup pecans

Beat eggs whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form..Continue beating adding sugar one spoonful at a time until stiff peaks form. May take several minutes. Stir in pecans..
Bake 44 minutes to 1 hour on 225 degrees
Let sit in oven another hour.
Store in airtight container..

I didn't see when you put in brown sugar. But I don't see well. Maybe I just missed it. I've always loved these but never put brown sugar in them. Thank you for giving us such a good variety of recipies.

What do you do with your egg yolks? I usually make a cake immediately after I finish the candy and put rhe yolks in it along with the normal amount of eggs.
