If there was a tree directly in front of Scott, then I would totally understand them calling him on it.  But to make that call in a wide open field where you know he's not trying to get any sort of advantage, is pretty weak.  I lost some respect for KC and PB on that one.  Climo sounds like a 12 year old girl not getting her way.

Scott handles this like a totaly pro in my opinion. No argument or underlying tone of voice. Dude seems cool as hell.

Apparently Climo and Brown were not up for the challenge of competing with someone who can actually throw a side arm.

"Ken, drop it, I'm not arguing." LOL.

This is totally personal. Scott and Ken used to battle it out back in the day, I didn't see anything wrong with Scott's footing, I thought he was not in line, but if the basket was to the right, then that is okay, but as far as being two feet behind the mini, no way.

Remember guys, the basket is off to the right, so he is hitting his line behind the mini. The point Ken and Patrick were making is that he was too far away. I believe that he was not. I think he was within the allotted 11 inches.

Whether it's a fault or not, Stokely took it and didn't argue. He just rethrew. So, why does Climo have that whine is his voice? Seems odd, like it's personal. I've seen foot faults called in competition and it's usually just a cold fact, "you missed your footing, dude". That's it. Why was Climo overexplaining and whining when Stokely merely threw again? Just odd, the whole thing.

11 inches is allowed. Climo made the call based on him being "2 feet off" which is not the case. They were defensive about making the call due their reasoning for making the call.

There’s a reason Scott is a teacher and still relevant today and Patrick and Ken are history. I lost a little respect for the champ from this video. I know it was a battle but Scott just acted way more professional imo.

I hate people who call this stuff....I am very flexible (Played 1st base my whole life so can almost do the splits and still throw.) and will work out of some crazy stretches to make sure my foot is perfectly legal. Yet I watch guys all the time have foot faults and stuff and the only time is if they were putting. So cheap to call this and then complain and get defensive when Scott asked if that throw was okay. Climo I just lost all, I repeat ALL respect for you.

This shit seems personal. He gained no advantage on his footing. I'm surprised this was Climo...I guess he must be a dbag.

To everyone saying they lost respect for PB. Just what was that respect based on in the first place? Guessing you never played a tournament round with him before...

Whether it was truly a foot fault or not, Climo committed a character fault. Scott handles this calmly and professionally. And he has to tell Climo to drop it because he wasn't arguing with him. I guess Climo had to justify his erroneous call. That eventually cost Scott the opportunity to go on to the finals. KC may be the GOAT, but only in winning tournaments, not in integrity. At least in this instance.

Knowing Scotts mini probably was 10cm in diameter, using it's relative size you can quickly calculate that Scott's heel was within 30cm in the first throw if it's in line with the basket.

We try to play by the rules (everyone I play with his an above par player) but unless it is blatant cheating, come on. It doesnt appear he was cheating and it's an open field shot. That's low, even if "rules are rules". Just be like "dude, you were a little far back. Just watch your footing".

Really hard to tell from this angle. Could be anything from about 25cm to 50cm depending on angle to the basket and his feet size. Close either way.

I will only call a foot fault on the second or third time and has to be 18” plus for me. Too much gray area to make the call. Plus optics and angles distort things. Unless its blatant no call from me.

Can someone please point out where in the rules of disc golf that it states you must be 12 inches behind your mini? I can't find a reference anywhere. 802.4B says nothing about distance behind your mini. I just want to be sure I know this rule inside and out.

Absolutely pure BS, lost all respect for Climo and Brown.... Bad show. And from the footage, he appears to be within the boundary.
