steel sharpen steel: it looks like Pearson sold the US contractor stuff to private-equity-manager Veritas (shell company) (who changed the name "Pearson Government Solutions" to "Vangent") in 2007 and that is the company General Dynamics bought in 2011/2012. not saying there aren't still ties, but on paper Pearson is completely separate (well as separate as any of them that are all run by the 1% are anyway)
