Great video. I remember seeing dictator Marcos in a glass enclosure. The tobacco fields were something to see. The photo ops seem to be awesome. I remember seeing the falls and the wind farm. I missed seeing the Blue Lagoon. Maybe l will see that next time.
Thanks for sharing some great ideas.

thank you so much for adding the map visuals!!!

the only thing I would change would be to leave them on the screen for an extra 3 seconds or so, so they don't flash by so quickly.

cool video. I love Ilocos Norte. Pagudpud is my favorite place there. I did the trip there first time with Filipinos from the USA. I had to go back on my own to explore it more. It's not as crowded as other vacation spots. I just got back from Boracay. It's so crowded that I even spotted some Makati friends there. It's better to explore other parts of the Philippines rather than the same ole same ole.

Gudjab Evan!
Happy to see You featuring Ilocos Norte. And btw-a little help in your pronunciation-it’s “La-wag” ( Laoag) 😉 I am a fan of your channel. My boyfriend is American and has never been to the Philippines ( he does not travel out of the US🥹🤨) I show him your videos so he can get a better picture of the Philippines ( not just the videos of the beautiful scenery). I am from Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, but I have lived here in California for the past 40 years. I might consider living back in the Philippines when i retire, but … might be a hybrid between here and there. I like viewing the Philippines from your point of view, being that your grew up in the US. More power to You. I look forward to more of your vlogs. Congrats on getting lnka and Isabella on board as new content creators. ( Inka might have gone to school in Ateneo with my niece who also did a stint at Monster radio(?) I’ll ask my niece Iana😉) Blessings to You

My very first trip to the Philippines back in 2005 was from Honolulu to Manila and Manila directly to Ilocos Norte (accompanied by my long time Filipino friend and his family). Ilocos was my first experience of Filipino people and culture. Pagudpud (Saud Beach or Blue Lagoon) is called the Boracay of the north, same pristine waters with a lot less people. I've returned to Ilocos several times since and like how it is a much more religious region compared to Manila. Only downside for me is that I speak tagalog and don't understand the Ilocano dialect.

Wow! You went to illocos norte? That's where Jayson is at. In Badoc. He runs the Kai-Rai Resto Bar & Grill. You could have tasted some Hawaii food that he cooks.
