I went to see Petula Clark in 2014 at Newcastle with my nanna and dad. She died on the 16th of November 2021 aged 79. This song makes me think of her. I miss her so much and a year has only gone by but it still hurts without her

This could have been the song when a girl dumped me for a guy who she found out wasn’t interested in her, I stumbled around 6-8 months going out with different girls, no real connections with any of them longer then 3-4 weeks, then about the tenth month we crossed paths, she was going through a bad time with her parents divorcing, not really dating any one, we started seeing each other, I was there to catch her falling, I always loved her and we’ve been together for 47 years now, 46 married. Its forever.
