Hello Sir, when a question asks me to "Show algebraically", can I still use the grid method to do my division? Or do I have to do the long division?

I tried this polynomial divison method with 3x^2 + 4x - 15 with x + 3 a factor and I manages to find the other factor that being 3x - 5. However, in the grid there was also an extra -3x please try this and tell me how I would know to ignore this last multiplication from the table thank you.
