I have a 2016 chevy 2500hd high country. It appears to have hud screen on top of dash but no controls. Is it possibly a screen for something else

Just bought a never owned 2021 Camaro 2SS convertible (display car from GM I was told) from the dealer with 100 miles on it in May 2023. I bought the extended warranty. Haven't even had the car 30-days & now the HUD just stopped working.

This is nothing new General Motors had this back in 96 every automobile should have it already I don't see why not it's a old technology
