I was born here and lived for a couple of years in the 80's. Thessaloniki is a better city than Athens in my opinion.
St. Demetrios is a Roman design cathedral and not Byzantine. Byzantine churches like St Catherine's in Ano Poli have a more rotund or circular design were St Demetrios is more rectangular and long. Hopefully you can upload more of the city. Great video!!

Hagia Sophia was built during the 7th century as a Christian church and then converted to a mosque by the Ottomans in 1430. You say that it was a mosque during the Ottoman empire and you don't mention that it was built as Christian church and in fact was a church for 600 years. Very inaccurate your video.
