I'll go there: if he needed catheters and pouches to get rid of his liquid and solid wastes, I think it's safe to say that the lower end of his digestive system got seriously fd up by the fire. I was under the impression from other sources that because of the extreme nature of his injuries after the fire on Mustafar, Vader's internal organs were so damaged that he was essentially gutted and had only his heart and lungs left intact after the repair work, and was basically a cyborg like General Grievous, needing only an IV to deliver nutrients to the remaining organic tissues.
