In today's video we build our own pool deck for our Intex above ground pool -- and in only three working days! This deck addition is attached to our existing deck and extends our deck from the back door to the pool. Made from standard building materials from Lowe's or Home Depot, this free standing deck is made in a post and beam or cantilevered design. Let's go!

Hi kids, love the pool deck..years ago we did the same thing, but ours was a 24ft round..was given a helpful hint for the ladder on the inside down in the water where the ladder rest on the liner...it was recommend to us to place two soft Terry towels folded one under each foot..this absorb the amount of pressure of the feet from rubbing down into the pool liner..as it is being used..just a precaution as to not make a hole....have a splashing good cool summer..
