My friend installed these on her duplex windows...back in the 90s & i rented there awhile, it was so nice. I wasnt as sensitive to light back then but itd sure be nice now. They also act as security and insulation from wind

I have the same ones in the Netherlands, but it also has blinds inside the windows with which you can allow more light in while keeping some view to the outside. Pretty neat.
