I like how u point out, if u are highly suggestible or very submissive u are more prone to false memories. I had forgotten that. I love it when someone or something reminds me of myself or part of me

This is a difficult and touchy topic. There is always a possibility of memories being inaccurate (which happens in both dissociative and non-dissociative people, and with both traumatic and regular memories) and that could be caused by deliberate lying, but most often I think it's difficulty in recall (or incomplete/corrupted encoding of a memory) and the tendency to "fill in the blanks" to provide continuity. An inaccurate memory could also be a result of deliberate mind control programming and implanting. If there are no witnesses, how can we prove validity of a memory, and even if there ARE witnesses, can we be sure THEIR account is accurate? Sadly, the fallibility of memory can be used to perpetuate more abuse and even create new cases of DID. I'm glad that you mentioned that past lives/another consciousness can merge with the physical body. If we look at an event on a quantum level, it may look different than most people say it is, and be even more tricky to discern its "accuracy."

Trauma fucks up the wiring where memory is stored, in so many ways :(

Funny how when I think and think about memories of my abuser I somehow find new information about him online that validates my memories are accurate. How do you explain that?

There are 2 ways to get Dissociative Identity Disorder (split personality) that I know of. 1 is if your mind is pulled too often in 2, or more, very different directions, ie u love a person but they are harmful to u, part of u wants to hate them & part of u wants to not & the more attention given to the feeling to slit (as I call it) the more chance a personality can develop, there for it seems to need to happen B4 the brain is fully developed (& I don't know when that is). 2 is brain abnormality that limits communication of different parts of the brain, so they are forced to develop a personality as part of it's development, because of the lack of communication with the core personality, yet this may also mean the split personality(s) could be under developed because of brain damage/abnormality. So people with other brain problems are more likely to develop Dissociative Identity Disorder. (at least this is what I have found well talking to others with more then 1 personality) I myself have 2 active at this time. (so both can effect development of the brain) Just thought u would like to know. Note: (Only based on problems I have had)

I have memories of having parents with castles but I also have all the skills.
So if I have the skills from the *~Memories a person would say that they are real right?
