It's like "Oh, crap, hide the weed!"

So, 3 things to note.
1. In season 1, Dipper and Mabel time travel to a point in history where Time Baby is destroying everything.
2. Gravity Falls short with the mailbox reveals the apocalypse is 3012.
3. At the end of the episode this scene is from, the weird code in the credits says "Time Baby will regenerate in about a thousand years, and when he does he will be cranky" or something to that effect.

So, yeah.

When the villain doesn’t monologue for ten minutes and attacks immediately:

The way he says this just gives me the vibes of "This teenage hosts a crazy party and when the police show up after a noise complaint he just tells everyone 'Play it cool. Hide the drinks! I got this.'"

It was super effective.

Could've been an epic battle, but the shock of Bill's power one-shotting the last infant time giant is pretty intense. Just...BOOM. EFFORTLESS.

Bill is the best villain we had in a long time. He's smart, powerful and hilarious

I think this scene surprised most off us, even if some people who watched this weren't huge fans of Gravity Falls. We literally see Bill kill like a Sentient being who controls time and space and like a mini army of the officers and while we do get a reaction it's not like silence for a few mins and then start to fear Bill they're like ''Oh snap he just killed time baby, YAY'' It proves how powerful Bill is and that he is also pretty much a psycho for killing then going back to what he originally was doing.

I love that Bill actually acts like the police are crashing his party and then just one shots the whole force😂

Just to let you guys know that all the time guards were holographic projections apparently according to Blendin (also why Blendin who also was physically there survives i think anyway- He was hiding and his hologram was talking) and in important missions they do not show up physically so Time Baby is the only one who got "destroyed" and will come back in 3012 more cranky than ever.

I love how this scene is almost comedical and the simplest way to explain it is “Bill kills a Baby”
