I am so happy right now. This has given me a serious confidence boost in Microsoft smartphones. Now I can consider buying an SD2, SD3, etc. because to me this is a sign that the Surface Duo team is taking this thing seriously.

I just upgraded about 3 hours ago. Currently the Duo isn't my daily driver anymore because the bugs were so bad. I do use it for work though. Surprisingly, I have not encountered any bugs yet. For anyone who has owned the Duo 1 (I would day the vast majority), you would know that a bug of some sort occurs every 5 minutes lol. I'm stunned at how well this is working. I will use it more throughout the day to see how it develops, but this is a stunning development. I am truly shocked. Every single bug and annoyance has just vanished so far.

Love my duo, was initially expensive and not perfect but, its great for mobile "true" multitasking. Add that to Xbox game pass ultimate and its an awesome work and play mobile environment. Am so relieved we finally also got android 11, just updated mine (in uk). Keep up the good work shane, really appreciate it

Just received the Android 11 update on my ATT Surface Duo. Thank you for the video. Everything looks to work, except the OneDrive picture feature (dual screen feature).

Im just dumbfounded as to why they didn’t add the default to right screen option, This is one of the features we needed most! MS just loves taking one step forward and two steps back…

How do you put stuff onto your power shutdown screen? I didn't know that was a possibility.

Before update the touch sensitivity was crap, always had to touch twice after having not touched the screen for more than a few seconds. Now it's fixed. Sensitivity back to normal smartphone level. It was my biggest gripe.

I don't know if it's android 11 or what but after the upgrade my surface duo wo t stay on unless it's plugged in. Not sure if it's a software issue or motherboard issue but I still have warranty and will see if I can exchange it

Writing this on a Duo with Android 11. I think the best new features are the native screen record and ability to open apps directly onto two screens.

Does the three finger swipe down for the notification shade still open directly into the expanded shade?
