Android 11..? It took MS 14 months to roll out Android 11 to a 1500-euro device..? And for what? A few UI tweaks and couple of bugfixes..?

Duo could have been a huge success... It's design theory was so on point... it's the excecution which failed...Hope with future iterations it gets fixed...Users who can afford one I urge them to give this a try and keep providing feedback to Microsoft for them to have inputs to update it...

For how expensive this is, the software experience looks pretty crappy. I guess this shouldn't surprise anybody, this is Microsoft after all.

1:12 your notification shade is wider than mine! I just updated to 11 but it's not quite as wide as yours, I can tell by using the flash module as a reference point.
Might it be related to smallest width setting in dev options? Mine is at 600, I don't remember what the default is though

Edit: yes it was the smallest width setting that did it. I set it to 550 now and it looks like yours in the video.

Hi, I saw your quick access bar in home screen is semi-transparent, and the background wallpaper could slightly go through the quick access. My surface duo can only see a black color instead. I was wondering is there any options inside the setting I can do to make mine same as yours?

Why would that bug still be open? It drives me crazy how un attentive to detail both Google and Microsoft can be.

Do you still have to wait if you have a AT&T Surface Duo that was unlocked by Microsoft? So far have not seen the Android 11 update.

You’d think it shouldn’t be much more expensive than two iPads hinged together, since that’s what it ultimately looks like. I’d say €800 tops. Nope, apparently it goes for €1400!
