Into Memory (p. 222)

Old enemies decide to jog Cassidy’s memory to spur her into action.
Motifs:
Lightmare Theme: The track opens with the Lightmare synthesizer. At 0:14, their shared rhythmic pattern kicks in, played by the staccato strings and horns. The violin plays an abbreviated version of the Lightmare motif at 0:25 and 0:31. A more traditional version of this motif is played by the horns at 0:35. The Lightmare synth returns at 0:49, only to disappear and be replaced by the triumphant Lightmare rhythmic pattern at 1:02.
Cassidy’s Theme: Cassidy’s main motif is played by the horns at 0:21. At 0:49, several different instruments play Cassidy’s main motif at different times, creating dissonance.
