Honest Opinion On Luminar NEO - Review of Luminar Neo

In this video I'll give you my honest opinion on the current state of Luminar NEO and share invaluable information about the company, Skylum, that created it. This was an exceptionally hard video for me to make.

I agree with your comments AT but at this time I feel so sorry for the guys at Skylum and their families and friends with what they are going through and like so many am will to wait as long as it takes for updates. It is a very bad & distressing situation, I have emailed them with my support and they replied but for now will leave them to literally fight for their lives against this unbelievable and dangerous aggressor who needs to be stopped. Stay safe guys

I've managed to get some really nice results by layering the tools and painting them in like you showed in one of your other videos (the one with the archway). This is a great video. Well done for posting it and for addressing such an emotional issue so well. I do also agree with what you are saying about the software and hope these suggestions are implemented when they can be.

As for my message to the developers I’d like to say: Even in the darkest of times there is always light to be found. The world is with you! Me and my family in the UK can’t possibly understand the hardships you are currently going through but are thoughts are with you and we hope you are all safe and well. We also hope this horrible situation will be over soon for you and you can go back to your homes safely.

I’ve enjoyed Luminar products through multiple cycles, and they’ve given me a lot of pleasure in my personal photo editing. I hope you can pass on our very best wishes. Since I purchased and started using Luminar AI it became my favorite piece of photo editing software. I love everything I have tried from their Marketplace, from templates to skies to the photo technique instructional videos included in the Luminar X Membership. The love Skylum has put into their products and broader offerings really shows, and that is something you don't notice when buying from most application software companies. To all the Skylum team, I want to thank you for all your hard work and beautiful software. Thanks for this video and yes there are a number of tweaks needed -
My message to the guys at Sylum is simply that we are all thinking about you and praying for no more loss of life - Just Keep yourselves safe, we can all wait for the updates even if its a year+ away, its not important in the scheme of things.
Number 1 priority is you and your family's, friends, neighbours infact everyone comes out of this OK. God Bless our prayers are with you. 🙏

Thank you for your update and I agree with your comments. I'm getting used to NEO and enjoying it, but would like to add some presets that I bought for AI onto NEO so I could play with them. I love being able to have plenty of layers and changing them as I go along. Great software and I'm glad I bought it and am happy to wait for updates, now knowing that they are based in Ukraine (which I didn't know). I've got the delight of now being retired, so I've always got plenty of time to wait!!

The thing we need to do is keep in mind the problems the people at Skylum are having at the moment, we just need to put developments for Luminar Neo on the back burner for the time being and be patient. I will not be seeking a refund and will gladly donate to the people of Ukraine.
