After a TON of searching, I wanted to compile all of the pieces of information I've found across a host of different sources into one video to help beginners move quickly through the beginning steps. Hopefully this’ll get you up and going quickly!

Camera Settings:
4K @ 30fps
Format: MP4
ISO 100 or 200
1/60th Shutter Speed
White Balance: Custom @ 7000K +/- based on conditions
D-Log: +1, -1, -1 OR 0, -1, -1 (Sharpness, Contrast, Saturation)

Gimbal Settings:
Yaw EXP: 0.20
Gimbal Speed: 22
Gimbal Smoothness: 20
Enable 30 Degrees Up
Enable Gimbal Sync. Follow

FYI Keeping the clear camera cover on also blocks the airflow into the aircraft. Can cause overheating!!

I want to buy a Camera protector, That you shouldn’t take off. Like a Filter protector, If you crash it will protect gimbal and camera, You put it on the same way, But it has venting on the bottom,

Thanks. I ordered the MPP, however, am thinking of not keeping it and just waiting for the MV2. Your initial settings for the camera and flight settings was a good refresher. This video should be watched by those waiting for their new drone to arrive so when the box does show up, they can get right into it.

Great info, I find it irritating that some company ie CAA has to give us permission to sell our videos. How wrong is that. I mean does anyone do the same for DLSR & iPhone photography? NO. All about money. How would they actually know if you did sell a piece of footage anyway?

My Mavic Pro doesn't seem to allow me to change it to 30fps in 4k. Only 24fps. Am I doing something wrong?

What's the difference between you ND-16 footage and the ND-16 graded footage you have in your video?

You absolutely have to register your drone with the FAA if it weighs more than .55 pounds.
