Your talking about compressed 4K and I'm here watching in 144p

the horizon is on an angle because you did not take off from a level surface, same thing happens with my Phantom 3 Standard :)

What really makes this the "perfect" drone isn't so much the quality of the image but that you have the drone with you.
I've often spoken with professional photographers and cinematographers that work with us and noticed a disconnect. I would ask them what equipment was "best" so that we could make sure to provide them with the gear they needed but would constantly be confronted by "Oh.. I didn't use that.. I used this for this shot". When we asked them why they used that camera... they would invariably say.. "Because I had it with me".

Bottom line is.. your "best" equipment is the equipment you have with you. It may not be the "best" in terms of capability.. but if you have your "best" equipment sitting in your studio because it's too big of a pain in the ass to carry with you and set up.. you won't use it for your shots anyway.
That.. is what makes the Mavic the "best" drone in a studio's arsenal.

Mumbo. Sometimes in life there are very difficult decisions to make. For instance, I saw the likes were at 69. I had to ask my self, is the video worth changing the likes, or should I leave it on 69. And I made it 70.

I'd have to agree with you, got mine a few months back and have been loving it more than any other that I have flown

tip:
dont get a ND filter use a GND (Graduated Neutral Density) Filter than is the sky a little darker but the ground just nice.

Definitely agree on the focus problem. I've had to discard quite a few videos and snapshots because I forgot to do a manual focus.

I love both your Redstone vids and VLogs, Mumbo

I've used tap to focus on sunsets, and twilight. You can focus on background or foreground changing the focus on light.

I honestly think that I enjoy your vlogs and reviews, more than your original channel. Even though both are edited really well I just like your opinions on tech, and I know that if you recommended something, that I can trust your opinion. Which that's sometimes hard to find on YouTube 😂

When you said you have too large of an apature and either the sky blows out or the ground blackens.... that is where you use tap to focus, depending on what you would want to showcase.

I have the Mavic and I only noticed glitches like that when slowing down from flight at a high speed. The Magic jitters to stabilize itself and it is noticeable because it is very lightweight. This also happens in areas of high winds sometimes. I would suggest using very slow movements on the sticks or enabling "tripod mode" for buttery smooth footage.

Got my hands on one of these yesterday and absolutely loving it

the horizon tilt can be adjusted while flying by holding the bottom right button and turning the right scroll wheel

Most of the other reviews I've read say that if you up the sharpening setting to +1, the noise compressor turns off and the footage looks much better.

On the blown out sky issue... Get yourself a few good ND filters for it and the problem is solved. Shooting in bright sunlight is challenging for any camera to get a good sky properly exposed with the landscape.

My Mavic's horizon only goes wonky after a sharp left or right turn, and it adjusts itself straight away. So it may be worth getting your unit checked out. If you hold down C2 and turn the exposure wheel left or right it'll roll the horizon for you during flight.

I spent half an hour working out how to turn on the remote and the drone.
If you have this problem here is the solution:
Press the power button once, release then quickly press again and hold down for a couple of seconds.
Sure it's in the manual but I didn't notice it and neither did any of my friends.
