Edit: Just as an fyi, in the video I am talking about republicanism. I am referring here to the political ideology of desiring an end of monarchy and introduction of a republic. And I'm not referring to the American political party.

how could you talk about the revolutions of 1848 without mentioning the very first one that year, in Sicily, which succeeded in creating an independent Sicilian republic for a year?
