On the Murder Drones wiki about Tessa Elliot it states "After entering the underground labs with Uzi and N, it was revealed that Tessa was a corpse melded with Cyn's former body to create a zombie host for the AbsoluteSolver." So this explains what happened with all of that...

Fun fact: at 0:11 when we see Uzi’s pov she sees on the bottom of her screen something that says “AbsoluteSolver_trn [Like non object interactive]” foreshadowing that Tessa had something to do with Cyn, and we see that in episode 3, at the prom, When Doll tries to use the solver on Uzi it says the exact same thing: “AbsoluteSolver_trn [like non object interactive]” which means that both Uzi and Tessa had a foreshadowing about either the solver and that they where controlled by Cyn, before we even new that it happened.

Honestly, I think it is Tessa; just in Cyn's old body. Given the way she talks about the solver, referring to it in the third person, and the fact neither N nor V seemed to ping that it wasn't her until the very end. Even then, it seems less he killed her because she was not Tessa and more so because she couldn't explain why they can't use the crucifix. It's only with her death that the solver and Uzi evicting Cyn the solver truly emerges.

One of the theories going around currently is that Tessa has been dead for years and likely died at the Gala. When her decapitated body picks up her head and removes the mask, you can clearly see that It’s Cyn underneath Tessa’s skin meaning that Cyn killed Tessa, skinned her, and wore her like a Halloween costume. You’d also notice that Unmasked Tessa happened to look very similar to the creature which jumped doll. There was many clues to show that Tessa was Cyn such as in EP 6 where she starts coughing because “air’s toxic”, this doesn’t make sense cause it would mean that the tube that connects the mask to her supposed oxygen supply is a complete fake.
