It's a tragic thing. Tessa genuinely cared for each and every one of the drones, fixed them up, and gave them a home. She seemed to be the only one J would let herself be a bit more calm around.
Her death, and then her body's fate on behalf of Cyn, is horrific. The others don't even have time to properly process what's happened because Cyn is so busy trying to kill them.
