A 3 door Mini JCW is so much fun, always made me smile. I sold my 3 door JCW two years ago. I missed it soo much, today I ordered a brand new one. I can’t wait for it to arrive!

My fiance has a 2012 mini cooper base. Not even the S or JCW nothing... I love that thing! It puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. Also, I'm 6 feet and fit perfectly in this car if not better than my corolla. Minis are truly a beautiful piece of work

I had '15 GTI, sold it during COVID, and have wanted something new ever since. With manuals coming to their demise, I was looking at an VW R or Mini. Stopped by the dealer just to test drive a mini with manual and to my surprise they just had a JCW. This Mini was so much better than the '15 Mini we last drove. I fell in love with it and took it home! The adaptive suspension is worth the money as we also test drove an S with stock suspension and it was a much firmer ride. Our JCW is fun and refined. It's not like riding in a STI, Civic, or some of the other plastic feeling sport hatches. This feels like a small BMW inside, the layout is fantastic!

Absolutely loved it on a test drive. Having tested both an i30N and a GR Yaris, the Mini felt the like a much more premium package, obviously reflected in the price, but if you have the money, I'd say go for it! Excelent car.

Looking at this as a well priced BMW is an interesting perspective. Straight to the configurator!

I just sold my 2016 Hardtop Cooper S (Todd planted that seed in my Car Debate 542), and am reminded how much I regret that move after seeing the guys enjoying this JCW. Todd is right, you need to look at MINI as the entry level fun BMW.

Loved this review !!! I had a 2006 Cooper S, 6 speed and awesome supercharger. It put a grin on my face everytime I drove it and I especially liked giving rides to people who had no idea that 1) there was so much room inside 2) how genuinely quick the car was 3) how well it handled corners. Thank you for pointing out all the stuff I loved about the first gen Mini and how the new one recalls that same look and feel. This review makes me want another Mini !! More Smiles per Mile = Mini Cooper

I had a Cooper S for 5 years. It was a great, fun-to-drive car. I eventually "upgraded" to a 3-Series, but still miss the Mini sometimes.

Nice review. I ordered a 2022 JCW last month. Rebel Green, with black roof & mirrors, automatic transmission & intelligent adaptive suspension. Now I have to wait 4 months for it to be built/delivered.

Glad you guys keyed into BMW 0.5 Series! I got my S in 2016, and on the day I brought it home, looked down while cruising and went “whoa, 90!?” Been an absolute blast ever since. Great on backroads, good in a commute, can park anywhere, reasonable gas mileage, keeps the Costco bill in check.

My wife has a 3 door version of Mini copper s with the JCW package. 2016 model with the B48 engine from the BMW 320i. That car is such a hoot to drive. The exhaust pops at every gear change.

I'd love to see the guys test a mini countryman! I know it's Mini's largest vehicle, however I drove one recently and fell in LOVE.

My wife has a 2010 Copper s convertible (stock) and of course manual. It is a hoot to drive when pushed hard, I love it and secretly would get a JCW for Sundays!!!!

I still have my 2006 JCW and it's a great car! I know $40k sounds expensive, but mine was almost $32k in 2006. These cars are so much fun!

I own 2021 a "normal" Cooper (the "rational" version) Classic 3dr (with all the gizmos and whatnot) and i absolutely love it. It´s very frugal and 136hp is plenty for a small hatch (back in the 80´s this would be a ridiculous statement). The JCW is amazing and top of the line (although a little "thirsty" with the gasoline at 2.1 € a liter). In Europe we have three lines - 1 - Mini One 102hp 2 -Mini Cooper 136hp 3 - Mini Cooper S and, 4 - Mini Cooper JCW. The 1.5 cooper is bullet proof in reliability and a very nice ride all around.

I had a 2016 jcw and I miss the hell out of it. Was by far the best car I’ve owned it was so well thought through and a massive upgrade from the previous generations of minis. Can’t wait to get my hands on another one.

Spot on review! We bought a 2022 Clubman JCW and it is a Fantastic vehicle to drive. Speed deception is absolutely true, you can be an easy 20:30 mph over the posted limit and doesn’t even feel like it.

Loved to see how happy it made your review! They are unique in a sea of uniformity.
