Use some of the manure on your compost heap. It will generate some heat and help your heap break down.

Hi Emma! Love the video. You could use a compost bay- or make a new bay- to load a lot of horse manure into to rot down. Then after 6 months it'll be all good to use straight onto beds!

English teacher speaking: ‘dank‘ is absolutely a word! It means unpleasantly damp, wet and chilly.

I totally understand your feeling of needing to be fully aware of what's going on around you in the gardens. I think you're very wise not to wear headphones while there. The bonus is you get to hear all the birds! Your new arch looks very nice. So good to s.ee Einstein & his friends visiting you.

Emma I carry a safety whistle in my allotment and I always padlock the gate behind me to ensure only key holders can get in.
I also play a DAB radio ony plot when alone

I am saddened by your sense of fear, and I think many of us can relate to that ...I hope Einstein makes you feel good and safe whilst you're there, a little. Love your videos xxx Ps: you could have a little radio battery powered or USB /battery pack powered to hear music whilst working xx

I thought I'd just say again that I love your videos! 🥰 And I wanted to add that you do a fantastic job recording and editing. I love all the different angles you put in, and the music that you use. I know that takes extra time because you have to reposition the camera for every different shot, but IMHO, it's wonderful that you do that! I think it gives all of us a really "authentic" look at what you're doing on the plot that day!

The new archway sits nicely in front of the trees and looks fantastic. I'd tie that offending branch back, or even give it the old saw treatment.
PS, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas .

The leaves on your cauliflower are good to eat too! 😊

You should add that to yr compost bin... It has all the right chemicals and bacteria- keep a pile or a builders bag next to the bins and add some every time you add anything else- I'm sure other people have mentioned this, but it is a nabsolute top tip...

A long handled garden fork should make picking up the manure easier. It stabs through the pile and the clumps will hold together 👍🏻

You could get a small security alarm you pull a pin out and it makes a very loud sound, my wife takes one dog walking at 6.15 am, I would join her but I can not walk much.

I love the poo. It's great for gardens! I watched an older Gardener's World episode, and there was a part they were talking about dealing with white flies. They wrap cellophane/ plastic wrap over their hand and brush the affected plants, and the static electricity makes the white flies stick to it.

Made the same mistake building my arch last year 😂 Nice to see I'm not the only one that (almost) never get things correct the first time 😂
