The calculations of above numerical values does not results in 12.7 meter ? Anyone can Explain ?

Great video. Just one question, why a SF of 4? I have seen some examples where the yield strength is reduced (as 80% of YS) to become the ‘allowable stress’ or ‘operational stress’.
