I know most of the adjustments on that tailgate and I tried everything the ticking noice didn’t go, I was very disappointed about it because after I know this much I couldn’t figure out a small noice, some time ago I came across your video and one part you said I missed, greasing the points, I was not that hopeful but I tried and the noice gone now, than you so much for this information

Great video, just did all that you explained in your video and on test run-no rattle! One thing I adjusted from your recommendation was to set hinge as far back with bottom door closed then tighten. The technique of leaning against the door didn’t move hinge back as there was too much play with the door in the closed position.
