As if minorities and poor people have ever gotten leniency because of our "broken system ". Who does he think is causing this broken system?

Chauvin didn't consider any type leniency for George Floyd when he had his knee on the victim's neck, did he? How about the court rendering a sentence that will reflect how the defendant should have known better? It might be fair to let this person out when George Floyd returns to his family and friends.

Lack of criminal history, just mean he wasn't charged in all the other crimes he committed.

He should spend the rest of his miserable life in prison. This was deliberate murder. He had plenty of time to reconsider what he was doing, and refused to budge. He knew what he was doing, and enjoyed it.

So he's the "product of a broken system."
System was working for him just fine when he got away with brutality. Gets caught, it's broken.
No. You can't twist it. You're a murderer, and you belong in prison. Boy bye👋🏼

The defense saying that this clown doesn't have a "criminal history" is a joke. From what I understand, he had 17 complaints against him in his "jacket, " because he had treated people horribly and the DOJ is going after him because he abused a 14 year old about two years ago. In my mind, that is criminal.

Bet he wishes he just wrote a citation. Passing a counterfeit bill doesn't even require an arrest.

Wait, he wants a new trial because he does not agree with the results? THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR...

Somebody tell Fox News so they can claim Derek Chauvin is the victim.

So Chauvin wants mercy, something he never showed poor George.

Chauvin's eyes still shows he doesn't get it.
And I doubt any of those reasons for 'leniency' would be applied to a black person in the criminal system.

End qualified immunity and this crime by cops will stop

30 years vs. probation.

Pretty much sums up the divide in the country.
