Very impressed with this judge. He saw what the prosecution was trying to do and make it nearly impossible for the defense to do their job. That was dirty and underhanded I'm glad he stopped it in its tracks.

Dirty move from State trying to make Defense do extra work, but the judge isn't having it

As a professional observer, I think this is a Great judge. He's fair and on the money with his review of facts.

LOVE Judge Cahill. Seems cool as a cucumber but boy, get him angry and he GOES OFF.

Nothing like hindering the defense from providing a fair defense! 1 against 10 when things are happening in real time? Nice try on the prosecution's part... No Dice 🎲

How does the ada not know how many lawyers are working this case for the state? The fact that he DOESNT know should tell you that there’s A LOT of them.

Based on what I have seen so far. Derek Chauvin is not going to be found guilty.

I like the defense lawyer, I like the way he ask questions, he generally seems like a nice guy, and smart too. I would want him for my lawyer if I was in trouble.

This judge has been 100% fair to both sides. Nelson is doing a pretty damn good job considering the fact that he's way outnumbered but the whinny state. I'm pretty certain however that there is about a ZERO % chance that Derek receives a fair trial. I mean, seriously. The announcement of the 27 M to the Floyd family during jury selection!!!! Whether you love him or hate him, no way Derek receives a fair trial and that's f**ked up. Too many simple minded and hate spewing fools have already made up their minds before knowing ALL of the FACTS.

This case should be transferred out of this district, can't get a fair trial when the council is handing out 27 million in settlement when there's been no judication of guilt...clearly there needs to be a change of venue ruling..
