I think Canelo might have actually been behind on some scorecards. Around the same amount of punches landed but Kovalev threw 3 times as many. In most cases when that happens the judges go with the volume puncher. Canelo really never had Kovalev hurt till that last combination. Great come from behind win for Canelo. I love his fights

I'm beginning to think that Chris Mannix must be a Canelo fanboy from his unofficial scorecard. Either that or he's been paid to watch another boxing match. I had it first five rounds to Kovalev and it was round 6 before Canelo won a round. Prime example was round ten clearly won by Kovalev but given as a 10 to 9 unfavore of Canelo.
It was a good job that Canelo actually knocked out Kovalev in round 11 because had it gone the distance and down to scorecards then i really do think Kovalev would have been robbed and Canelo would've come out the winner, and probably winning everysingle round in the eye's of the judge's. You would've thought that Canelo's opponents would have learned by now after the Bivol fight that to win against Canelo then you need to basically continue to throw jab after jab after jab into Canelo regardless!!!
Curious as to who's going to be next to fight Canelo now he is the new light heavyweight champion 🤔🤔
