I remember when people hated on this fight and called Bivol a cherry pick in advance, that was crazy to me. Now these same people are still hating on Canelo who stepped up in weight and took on the champion for 12 rounds, they praise Bivol for beating Canelo and they praise Beterbiev for taking on Bivol in his own weightclass. How twisted is that?! All three of these fighters are amazing!

Bivol guard and his ability to shoot his jab right off his guard is so fast and precise. It’s crazy also not getting caught over the jab tucking himself behind his should even when canelo did counter over he still wasn’t hit clean. I think his jab is what sets him apart and ability to stand strong not wear down and throw combinations without being countered. Tward the later rounds canelo was so busy using his hands to actively defend himself he couldn’t even try and counter back leaving him option to just mount attacks in between and he was so gassed he just couldn’t do anything significant.
