Thank you! Mine didn’t make enough juice / water and I lost it.. no recipe online suggests the brine if in this situation.. I really want to try again especially knowing I can add the salt brine

Tips i heard from old lady on other youtube's comment section :
You DON'T need to add water, you just need to crush the cabbage with your hands, you can use bare hands or put them in ziplock bag and roll them with rolling pin, the water will comes out and you use that water to ferment them, even then the water will "not be enough", so you put weight on them, this way you don't need to add more water that will reduce the original taste

So if i put one table spoon of salt to mix in with my two pounds of cabage when making the brine do i put aditional salt?

Heyy i wanted to ask that if the juice of cabbage after salting n pounding isnt enough to submerge the cabbage completely under water once i put the cabbage in the jar....then can i add brine water from top until it submerges completely like u did... n then after the weight n the lid?

How much salt do you put in 200g of cabbage? I made mine too. I add 40g of salt. I think it is too much😭. I don't want to throw away the Sauerkraut

Iodized salt is perfectly good for this. No need to use pink salt.
