Two Edmonton police officers killed on duty

Two Edmonton police officers were killed Thursday morning while responding to a call in the city’s northwest. The officers were identified as Const. Travis Jordan, 35 and Const. Brett Ryan, 30. Jordan was an 8.5-year veteran of the Edmonton Police Service, while Ryan was with the EPS for 5.5 years.

Curious as to why the Shooter wasn't named, no photograph, his mother wasn't named, no photograph. What was his, or their ethnicity?

Also, if the shooter was only 16 or 17 did he perchance happen to have a PAL or RPAL if it was a Handgun? If not, how did he get the gun?

I met constable Ryan for about 10 min at a car crash & he was a very professional, funny & an all around good man from the 10 min I talked to him. RI to the both of them & my sympathies to both their families especially constable Ryan who’s wife is pregnant with their first child 😥💔

What i said when the 2 Edmonton police officers killed on duty: Domestic calls are the most dangerous calls police are called to as others have said and i respect the brave men and women who still go in knowing this. It's a shame we can't send robot dogs in to all of these situations more often (as America is) to avoid this happen as much as it does.
