How do you feel about race swapped characters?

If a character started out as white it should stay that way, same thing applies to black characters, how are people supposed to care if theirs characters can't stay consistent, what happens to the actual black characters, do we just forget about them? If they want diversity so badly, just make good stories around pre existing black characters, I mean why race swap when you could just make a new character the way you want.

I wholeheartedly agree with this video so much. Race-swapped characters need to stop and it’s definitely an agenda behind it all. I feel it’s disrespectful to the original source material and just shows the lack of originality and talent in the movie industry.

im so pissed seeing videos of people who have been talking about "well its ok because weve been suppressed" or "theres to many white characters" I get that with disney being mainly white they need more but their always "ok" with race swapping until it happens to their own making it a big deal. Over all the creators only usually seem to talk about being suppressed in movies, which the mulan was actual shit and im mad because obviously it was all messed up? its pretty much all talk and fun and games until that race what ever they may be gets a swap.

The a train (from the boys)
Astrid (from HTTYD LA)
Deadshot
Snape (from Harry Potter)
Juliet (from Romeo and Juliet)
Comesional Gordon
Little mermaid
Starfire (from TT)
April oonel....ect

All these characters i mentioned were all retconed from being white skin people into being a Black skin ones
And we didn't complain about it, maybe some of us did but they weren't heard enough and they called them racist
And now after the announcement of race swapping BLACK PANTHER
all black people started yapping
I hope the next Nick fury is White and so many black skin characters get race swaped in order for them to feel how we felt about it

In my opinion race swapping is only okay for like an extremely unpopularity character or a character who appeared one time. 98% of times race swapping simply does not work.

I agree with this video, these companies want to face swipe every character and make them black which to them is diversity but that’s not. Why can’t these film studios or companies like Marvel, DC and Disney created new original characters that are black with new original stories.

As a black man, I hate this whole race swiping and sad part is that Black people will accept this but to me you’re accepting a sloppy second instead of creating a new original character that is black .

I hope one day that one major actor or actresses are going to say enough of this, but I do hope that some independent film companies will make their own projects away from Woke Hollywood.

i'm gonna be real, The Race swapping is beyond worse. the Proud Family Reboot sucks, it's already bad enough that they been promoting woke propaganda. i'd rather watch Berserk 2016 instead. there, i've said it.
