2001 Ford Mustang Bullit, Gateway Classic Cars-Milwaukee #758
Показать описание
Gateway Classic Cars is fired up in presenting this 2001 Ford Mustang Bullit for sale in the Milwaukee Showroom. The Mustang basically has the legacy of being the front face of Ford's performance cars. The Mustang has gone through quite a few changes since its 1964 debut featuring an inline 6 cylinder. The year 1994 came through ushering in the first of the SN95 body style featuring a complete redesign inside and out over the Fox body which was smaller, less spacious and always left something to be desired in terms of comfort.
The year 1996 came around and the 4.6 modular engine was introduced to multiple vehicles including the Mustang. The completely new design to the Ford included overhead camshafts and different combinations as far as cylinder head design and the number of valves each cylinder would feature pending purpose and application. This Highland Green beauty was painted this color to resemble in the same color as the hero car of the 1968 Steve McQueen film Bullit in order to pay homage to a movie that featured one of the greatest on screen car chases and an actor that would become a auto enthusiast icon in his short life span.
The 4.6-liter V8 residing under the hood is bolted to a 5-speed manual transmission giving the driver the exhilarating feels of American muscle as if they were the one ready to jump the steep roads of San Francisco. The Bullit has been added to further add on to an already mean machine by adding an aftermarket set of American Muscle staggered replica wheels which feature 315mm tires in the rear and 275mm up front which, when combined with the stance provided by the Eibach lowering springs supplying a 2 inch drop, makes for a nice but aggressively stanced car. The Mustang also features air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with a CD player, power seats, power windows, traction control, power locks, and cruise control which makes for easy cruising in this icon on wheels.
