Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt/GT. This Bullitt is production number 2,733 of 5,582. This 1 owner car has been well cared for but still enjoyed through the years and still holds lower miles than many newer vehicles today. With just over 57,000 original miles this car still runs and drives without any issues.
To add some novelty to this beauty are the two autographs located on the underside of the trunk lid. The signatures are from Scott Hoag who was the Customization engineer at the time along with Austin Craig who is a well-known Shelby historian. Powering this beast is the original 4.6L V8 which is paired up to a smooth shifting 5-speed manual transmission. Being a stock Bullitt with a little bit of research you can known everything you’ve ever needed to know about the Bullitt and how iconic it has grown to become. Being named after the classic movie “Bullitt” featuring Steve McQueen as the driver of the even more memorable ’68 Mustang that started it all.

This Bullitt is painted in the same Dark Highland Green as the original which is very suitable for those who are fans of the movie. In this color there were 3,041 of the 5,582 ’01 Bullitt Mustangs produced with an unknown number still on the road. With time, this is sure to be a great collector car and still enjoyable to drive around town leaving a smile on your face. Even the interior of this car remains in good condition.
