BMW 750 GS 2021- Review at 7,500km after 4-weeks across Colombia.

A further review of my BMW 750 GS 2021. After 4 weeks across colombia I wanted to share a few safety issues worth mentioning... Lights, tyres, wheels etc. Maybe you have a BMW F750GS or maybe you are wondering which motorbike to buy, or which motorbike is the best brand. Do you want on-road, off-road or a mix of the two? Well, I hope my regular input on my experience helps.

A few people asked about these additions:

Maybe I would have been better off with the 850 GS, but I didn't think I would do as much off-road as I have been doing in the last 9 months. So think carefully if you're torn between getting the 750 GS and the 850 GS ... But I'm still happy with the 750 GS... And getting the 'lower' seat option on the 850 GS, would mean sacrificing a center stand. I like having one, so that was a big drawback. I'm 5'9" and the standard seat height of the 850 GS is just a pinch too high for me.

I recently purchased a used standard F850GS with the standard suspension. I did a lot of research before purchasing and was also considering the F750GS because of its 2" lower standard seat height. A big difference btw the two models beside the seat height, wheels and HP/TQ is actually the different suspensions. The F850 has larger inverted front tubes with a longer travel F/R suspension which accounts for the increased ground clearance and seat height. After deciding on the F850GS, I opted not to purchase the low seat/suspension F850GS model because it eliminated the Dynamic ESA and center stand, both of which I really wanted. I added the factory extra-low seat and now I am very happy with my purchase.

Hi I love your videos and your bike, I have just ordered a new 750 GS in triple black plus all the 40th anniversary decals with black and yellow seat and handguards, I am a fairly new rider just past my test last year and was wondering about the comment you made about rear wheel spin whilst driving in the wet, can I ask what mode that you were riding in at the time?

Great video thanks. As to tires I like the Shinko 705s because the rubber isn't as hard as the Michelins. My buddy rides the Dakar with Michelins and I the g650gs with Shinkos. We traded bike on the gravel one day and he's now changed to the Shinkos. Under $120 for a set.

The windshield is interesting im 5'10", bought the ZTechnik VStream Windshield sport/touring which is also 16" tall and I have the same arai xd4 helmet and the 750gs. On the highway, at 100km my head shook faster than a rabbit chewing, had to return it and now I'm looking for a taller one

You have balls of steel mate, I wouldn’t do that as the current state of the country is as of now. Been thinking once my lower back is better to jumó the gun on this one. Been a while I don’t ride bikes but from what I’ve seen this is a gentle bike.

Hi, I've recently come across your channel and I've since been watching and enjoying many of your videos. I am in the process of searching the local market for a used F 750. I reckon it suits me better than the F850, as I'm 1.76 m tall. Looking now at the wheel's bending I wonder if, for off-road use, you could find in the market a pair of spoked wheels for your bike (i.e a 19'wheel in front), provided that the price would be affordable. You sound like you needed the 850 for your type of riding. I have the 750 GS 2021 (exact copy of yours without mods) and I'm fine with it as is with no off-roading.

Hello from Brit(ish) Columbia! I have a 2020 non 40th anniversary and at 15, 000 km including gravel roads. Great video and I have questions but perhaps should just check out your other videos for the answers hehe. The auxiliary light mounts + which lights are they? The cover over your quick shifter? I love your exhaust, can you hear it better than the stock? I honestly just hear the whirring from the front engine bits. I would LOVE to get rid of the heavy anti-pollution boxy thing 😉
